One of the most distinguishing features of EWGA that separates our association from other golf leagues is the organization’s focus on education. EWGA desires to introduce more women to the sport of golf and is dedicated to helping women play golf better. The Toledo chapter provides educational opportunities including explanation of golf rules, etiquette and handicap calculation plus instructional golf clinics during the year. Our first clinic of the year will be held on Tuesday evenings from April 3 through May 1 at Maumee Sports Mall. Cost of the clinic is $100, however the cost will be pro-rated for anyone who starts the clinic after the first night. Dan Sutton of Eagle's Landing Golf Club will head up the clinic.
